MPBN Radio Host Suzanne Nance Joins PCMF for August Concert
We are delighted to announce that Suzanne Nance, host of Maine Public Radio’s Morning Classical Music, will play an integral role in a new concert format being introduced this summer. On Saturday evening, August 16th, Ms. Nance will host an evening of chamber music featuring works of Mozart, Chen Yi, and Dvorak. Suzanne will introduce each piece, interview featured composer Chen Yi onstage, and moderate a question and answer session with the performers following the concert.
Join us we celebrate our 17th season with five captivating and imaginative concerts by our distinguished performers. This year's roster includes current and former members of the Vermeer, Arditti, and FLUX String Quartets; the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony, and the Orpheus Ensemble; and faculty members at the New England Conservatory, the Eastman School of Music, and other renowned institutions.

This performance marks our seventh year of concerts in the lovely town of Gardiner, Maine. The concert is presented by Johnson Hall and takes place at a beautiful venue in the area.
Join Marc Johnson, former cellist of the renowned Vermeer Quartet, for an evening of chamber music with Artistic Directors violinist Jennifer Elowitch and pianist Dena Levine.
