Family Concert:
"Songs Are Stories"
with Invoke

Saturday, March 7  |  11:00 AM

The Children's Museum & Theater of Maine | Portland

"Songs Are Stories"is a fun and interactive introduction to artistic inspiration and the creative process. Kids will learn about the use of music to tell a story, and help Invoke to create some brand-new songs—right on the spot!

Invoke is a multi-instrumental string quartet based in Austin, Texas. The four musicians play classical string instruments (violin, viola, cello) and also play the banjo, ukulele, mandolin, sing, and write original music. They have a passion for storytelling and draw on a wide range of musical styles, including jazz, fiddle tunes, and bluegrass, to express their musical voices.

Great for all ages!
